This Privacy Policy explains how the PrepCentral mobile app (the "App") collects, uses and protects your personal data. The App is operated by [LLC legal name], a Montana limited liability company ("PrepCentral", "we", "us"). The prepcentral.in website is operated by [Partnership firm name].

1. Data we collect

• Account details: your mobile number (used to sign in with a one-time password) and the name you enter in your profile.
• Preparation details: the exams you choose to prepare for.
• Test activity: your answers, scores, time spent per question, attempts and the analysis we generate from them, including your percentile compared with other students' first attempts.
• Rewards and referrals: coins earned and referral codes used.
• Purchases: the status of your Pro subscription and purchase identifiers from Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your card or bank details.
• Technical data: IP address, device type and app version, used for security (rate limiting and preventing abuse of one-time passwords) and to attribute referral invites.

We do not use advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your personal data.

2. How we use your data

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To provide tests, results, analysis, exam calendars and your Pro subscription.
• To show your standing (percentile) — other students never see your name or number.
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with the law.
• To respond to your support requests.

3. Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the App, under contracts that limit their use of your data:

• MSG91 — to send one-time passwords by SMS.
• Google Play and the Apple App Store — to process and verify purchases.
• Amazon Web Services and our content-delivery providers — to host the App's servers and content.

We may also disclose data where required by law or a valid order of a court or authority.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on secure servers, which may be located outside India. We protect it with encryption in transit, access controls and limited staff access.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Delete account) or at prepcentral.in/delete-account. Deletion is immediate: your mobile number, name, profile, exam choices, test attempts and results, coins and referrals are erased, and you're signed out everywhere. We keep records of payments you made (amount, date, plan and order IDs), no longer linked to your number or name, because the law requires us to keep financial records. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Google Play or App Store subscription; cancel it in the store.

6. Your rights

You can delete your account yourself as described above. You can also ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing support@prepcentral.in. You can update your name in the App at any time. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the App to you.

7. Children

The App is meant for students preparing for competitive exams. If you are under 18, please use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the App.
